Looking to adopt dog
I would like to adopt a dog, but I am finding it extremely difficult to navigate the website and need some help. There is not a lot more that I have to say other than I cannot navigate your website; it is way too difficult for the elderly.

Not Happy that I Even had to make the Call ! It Could have been Avoided if To Love a Canine was Honest from the Beginning!!
She developed GI issues which I know now is 100% connected to the UTI!! In Hindsight? I look back and I thought that they Genuinely Loved Animals as I do? But I now know that they were just trying to pass her on !
I have close to 1000 back and forth txt msgs with the Foster Mom letting her know of My puppy's condition and at NO Time did she ever offer any information that she was or anyone was Administering Antibiotics for UTI ! It was on September 30th, when Tracy ,the Director of TLC Rescue called me while I was at Love City Vet and told her that My puppy who's Name is now Mocha ,Changed from Necterine at the Rescue ?Tracy revealed that Mocha was being Treated for UTI 8 days before I picked her up? She told me that it's in her medical records? It was buried 3 pages back in some Random order that Mocha was treated and put on Antibiotics!
Thos whole situation could have been Avoided and treated differently and More professional if given the information Verbally while at the Meet and Greet! It cost $781.31 just for September 30th at Love City as they had to do a more thorough History and play Catchup on Mochas Rollercoaster of Medical conditions that are %100 connected and %100 could have been Avoided and treated while in their Care ! But they passed her onto me,Knowing that I instantly fell in love with this puppy BetweenTracyandorAmanda, The Foster Mom, They knew and never Told me as Mochas Condition worsened !!
She's doing much better now but Shame on them for Acting like they are doing it for the Safe placement of Shelter Animals? When they just tried to push her off unnoticed?
Preferred solution: I want to keep Mocha but want Full Reinbursment for Medical bills that should have never happened!

Detrimental to rescues trying to save lives
They will just ignore you no matter what avenue you take to contact them.
Dogs are dying daily on the streets and in overcapacity animal control facilities. The Petfinder quality team decided to disable our account because When you became a Petfinder member, you agreed to our Terms of Service and Code of Conduct, which state that your organization may be removed from Petfinder at Petfinders sole discretion without advance notice. We have determined your organization is no longer eligible for Petfinder membership.
That means they dont have a reason for disabling our account other than someone on the quality team felt like disabling it. I have attempted to escalate this matter up to a supervisor within the quality team and have not received any response back.
Our rescue is currently experiencing what we believe to be unjust treatment by a member of the Petfinder quality team.
The lack of transparencyboth in terms of the decision-maker's identity and the reasoning behind their actionsis deeply concerning and makes it impossible for us to address or resolve the issue effectively. Our rescue depends on Petfinder to be able to adopt out our dogs so that we can continue saving more dogs from overcapacity animal control facilities that euthanize on a regular basis in South and Central Texas. By locking our account and banning us from utilizing Petfinder to post our dogs for adoption, that leaves us in a position where we are forced to close intake and not take in any more dogs into the rescue.
Ultimately, that means the recent actions taken by the quality team are having immediate and life-threatening consequences resulting in outcomes that jeopardize the lives of dogs in animal control facilities at risk of euthanasia that my rescue otherwise had the capability, capacity, and resources to save. I am extremely disappointed and deeply disheartened by how this situation has unfolded.
The current lack of communication and accountability from Petfinder is not only unacceptable on a professional level, but it directly conflicts with the collaborative spirit needed to support animal welfare. This situation deserves open, fair communication so that my rescue can get back to doing what matters most saving dogs' lives.
Were doing everything we can to advocate for the dogs in our care and for the dogs waiting to be rescued from animal control facilities that will lose their lives due to this decision made by the quality team, but without clear communication or a path forward, were stuckand dogs' lives are at risk.
I have respectfully requested that someone in a leadership position within the Petfinder organization reach out to me directly so we can work toward a resolution in a constructive and professional manner, but all of my attempts to get a mere response from the 5+ emails Ive sent regarding this matter have been ignored.

Shelter informed of hip dysplasia, cherry eye (congenital defects) yet Not Treated as I was told it would be...This Is Worse Than A Puppy Mill Procedures...VERY UPSET. Shelter took it off their FB page but trying to sell now through Pet Finders.
"Old Drum Animal Shelter" in Warrensburg MO is adopting out disabled canine with No Care or Concerns and now trying to shift it over to Pet Finders to adopt out.

I have kittens that homes
I have 4 kittens that homes they're outside my apartment building and can you pick them up I can't feed them anymore I will get put out of my apartment and I am not risking that for kittens I tried animal shelters they won't take them so I don't know what to do now these kittens need homes I don't know what else to do

Would rather eat cat litter.
After waiting for responses we went to the pound. Stop filling out inquiries.
No one responds. Don't fall in love with a pet on there. You won't get them. Go to your local shelters in person.
Most of these online sites are crazy and want a urine test, a background test, a PhD in poultry science and for you to use a retinal scanner.
The pound made things way easier and we left with kittens that day. Cheaper too.

Verified ReviewerI filled out adoption papers for a chihuahua. Someone already chose her. So the adoption was pending. As many Chihuahua puppies I see on line how come I don't get called?
They sent pictures of dogs with no prices. Then I found one and it was thru a breeder and the cost was$4,000.
I asked for chihuahua/mix.
I think that is so wrong. All the puppies were pure breeder and it was wrong to give me false hope of finding a mixed chihuahua.
Find me a chihuahua puppy! My application for adoption is in.
The puppy would have a wonderful home. I want a female. It can be mixed. I need a puppy in my life for companionship.
She would be by my side 24/7.
She would not be kenneled. I have a fenced yard and no other pets.

I agree , I have been looking for a bit but the website is horrible, un- navagatable and unhelpful. No wonder the dogs stay in the shelters too long.
